BOOKING / REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
Note: As per the Government of India directives, all guests—adults and children—must show valid Photo ID proof (Passport in the case of foreign nationals) at the time of Check-In.
STANDARD POLICIES

Advance Booking:
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of 100% advance remittance. -
Check-In / Check-Out Timing:
Standard Check-In time is 14:00 Hours, and Check-Out is 11:00 Hours.
If these timings do not suit your schedule, kindly inform us in advance. Necessary room allotments can be arranged on prior intimation, subject to availability, and may incur additional charges. -
Amendments and Cancellations:
- Cancellation or alterations to bookings are accepted with at least 7 days’ prior notice before your check-in date.
- Amendments are subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.

Identity Proof:
Please carry a valid government-issued photo identity and address proof for Check-In formalities. (Note: PAN Card is not accepted as valid identity proof.) -
Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via UPI, Cash, Credit Card, or Debit Card (Mastercard & Visa only). -
Fraudulent or Mistaken Reservations:
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where fraudulent or inappropriate activity is suspected or if the reservation results from an error.
JEEP SAFARI CANCELLATION POLICY
- Jeep Safaris once booked cannot be canceled or modified as per Forest Department regulations.
ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY – DOMESTIC GUESTS & TRAVEL AGENTS

45 Days or More Before Check-In:
Free cancellation. -
15–45 Days Before Check-In:
50% cancellation charge on the tariff. -
0–15 Days Before Check-In or No Show:
100% cancellation charge on the tariff.
Note: Refunds are not offered for cancellations. However, the deposit amount can be retained for future bookings, subject to a deduction of approximately 5.7% as payment processing charges.
ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY – INBOUND GUESTS & MICE GROUPS

60 Days or More Before Check-In:
Free cancellation. -
20–60 Days Before Check-In:
50% cancellation charge on the tariff. -
0–20 Days Before Check-In or No Show:
100% cancellation charge on the tariff.
Note: Refunds are not offered for cancellations. However, the deposit amount can be retained for future bookings, subject to a deduction of approximately 5.7% as payment processing charges.
For international remittances, payment processing charges may vary.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE POLICY
- Check-In: 14:00 Hours
- Check-Out: 11:00 Hours
- Early Arrival & Late Departure: Accommodated subject to availability and prior intimation.
FORCE MAJEURE
De Floresta Resort shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God
- Death
- War
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Embargoes
- Government orders
Force majeure includes any event or condition not existing as of the contract’s date, not reasonably foreseeable, and not within either party’s control, making the performance of obligations unreasonably difficult or costly.
JURISDICTION
In case of any disputes, the matter will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court Nainital and the High Court of Nainital only.
